It was my turn to host the book club.

We always have lunch afterwards. So

Kim and I decided to have breakfast tacos

withh all the fixings. Oh my gosh

MaryLou's coffee cake was a hit. Can't wait

to try and bake one.

Heres my card and bag creations: Monkeys gone wild!!!!

I used brown party bag-cream paper-used the spots /dots embossing. The green back ground paper i used the traffic jam embossing. Monkeys were cut out from cuttlebug. The (Lets Party) letters were from the hippie chick letters. chesnut chalk for edges-to give is a color. Cut out to bananas for tags.

Rangers Opening Day!

Wow! Its been my tradition that I created back in 1999 to go to the "Opening day at the Rangers Baseball Game". I always buy the tickets and treat whom ever can take off that day.
For the last couple of years we've done this as a family. Jon, Tracy, Monique and Joe all went-Kevin couldnt take off. Some of there friends joined us for tail gateing, Chad, Natalie, Lacy, Matt. We had such a great time. And yes the Ranges did when in the 9th inning.

Its been a tradition since I was a child to fill confetti eggs and then we crack them on each others head. What is a confetti egg? When you use an egg, you crack a small whole on the top to empty the egg out and save the egg shell (rinse egg out). Then we color them and then fill them up with confetti. We have so much fun. We always have one person that cries or gets hurt. (not too bad).

YadaYada Sista's

This was so much fun! I belong to this book club at my church. Right now we are reading the Yadayada Prayer Group. We just finished the 3rd book. I thought it would be fun if we played a game. The cover of the book inspired me. I asked all the ladies to bring a pair of funky socks to the meeting. We played a version of dirty santa/yada style. This is what my Yadayada sistas came up with. We laughed so hard-was alot of fun.

Ecuador Team 2010

My best friend and I went on a mission trip last year to Ecuador.
We decided to go back again this year and now have several people from our church joining us on the trip in September. We are excited about sharing the gosspel with others.
